The organized search for a Peru State College student missing since Dec. 3 ended Tuesday.

A Peru State student was arrested Wednesday on charges of providing false information, and tampering with evidence in connection with the investigation of Tyler Thomas’ disappearance.

Chadron State College is the official source for students and employees to check for information about class cancellations and other weather notifications.

Max Baker, of Elk Grove, Cali., and Willy Jones, of Chadron, received settlement monies from the State of Nebraska because of injuries sustained in a 2008 vehicle accident.

According to an e-mail from CSC Nurse Ann Dockweiler, students and faculty can still get flu shots from 10 to 11:30 a.m. today in Crites Hall room 012.

There will be no classes Nov. 24-26 for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Classes will resume Nov. 29.

For the final event of International Education Week, students will collaborate with Sigma Tau Delta to present international poetry at the club’s “Just Words” Open Mic Night.

All candidates in the Student Senate Fall 2010 elections earned their intended positions after voting Nov. 3 and 4.

The Chadron State College Education Association will award three $500 scholarships to a member from each school. Applications can be acquired from the financial aid office and are due to financial aid by Nov. 19.
