RLA hosted an event informing students about “World Vision,” a relief group that helps communities around the world, Friday, April 5, at The Hub.
Assistant Director of Residence Life Channing Jons presented a PowerPoint going over what World Vision does to help communities around the world, how people can get involved and the child he sponsors.

Henna tattoos are popular throughout the world and are temporary on the skin, lasting 1-4 weeks. Over 98 students attended the event, having the chance to either tattoo themselves or receive a free-handed tattoo from other students.

Indulge in the city’s cuisines
To backtrack a bit, we split the 16-hour drive to Cardinals country into two days, staying in Lincoln the first night. We chose AmuManu Ramen Bar as our first pick. I had never been to a ramen-specific restaurant, so I was glad we picked a place that I hadn’t visited. I ordered the garlic shoyu, a bowl with chicken, mushroom, egg, cabbage, ginger, chicken soy broth and, of course, ramen. The garlic came in the form of mayu, a black garlic oil a hint of sesame. The combination was heavenly.
