Everybody has heard the phrase “C’s get Degrees”; but the sad fact is that some students make this phrase their motto. Instead of being here at college to squeak by, students should be here to better themselves as people.

Many students often wonder if they are in the right field for them. While each individual case is going to be different, education majors in specific must look at if they are in the field for intrinisic rewards—we all know the field has little to no attractive extrinsic rewards.

We all invest our efforts into things that are important to us. There are those who paint, those who perform music, those who participate in sports, those who do other things, and some who do everything above. We invest our efforts into these things because we wish to better ourselves at them.
