On Sept. 2, it was released that there would be 10 new inductions to the Chadron State College Athletic Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony is set to follow the Oct. 31 football game against New Mexico Highlands. The inductees include five football players, one basketball star, a wrestler, and three individuals being recognized for their services at CSC.

Read MoreThe Newman House is the Catholic Ministry to the Chadron State College Campus. It provides an active Christian fellowship to Catholics and non-Catholics alike. The group meets at 5 p.m., most Wednesdays at the Newman House on 907 Main Street. A meal is provided and a spiritual program with guest speakers is offered. Mass is on the first Wednesday of each month.

Clubs have the opportunity to request more money for new events at future CAB meetings. After expenditures so far, the budget for the remainder of this school year is $142,037.91. Clubs are expected to be active on campus with the money that is in their budgets. During last week’s Student Senate meeting, the purchase of an inflatable movie screen that will be used for various club activities was approved. Any club has the opportunity to request for the use of the screen for an event during CAB meetings.
