Longtime Chadron State College employee, Con Marshall will be honored for his service at 9:30 a.m., Saturday during a brunch in the Student Center Ballroom as a part of Con Marshall Day.

New carpet, furniture placed in Student Center

While CSC students were on fall break, the Student Center was renovated, limiting access to the area around The Pit. From noon Oct. 9, until noon Oct. 14, the lounge area was closed while new carpet was laid.

Volleyball team’s losing streak continues

The CSC volleyball team hit the road for match-ups against Metro State University-Denver, Oct. 10, and Colorado School of Mines, Oct. 11, suffering losses to both teams.
Friday’s match-up with Metro State ended in three sets with scores of 25-21, 25-13, and 25-15.

On Oct. 11, I decided to attend the movie “Maze Runner” with a friend at the Chadron theater. We arrived semi-early, but assumed it would be slow because it was the matinee on a Sunday.
