Helmbrecht’s position as director of college relations entails that he acts as the head spokesperson for CSC. He is responsible for managing CSC’s public relations staff, and is also the managing editor for the news flow out of CSC.
Out with the old and in with the new—a key fob system that is. Familiar to returning students, the former FOB system had students access to their dorms using a small device given to them at the beginning of the semester. This year, students will be able to access entry into their dorms using newly implemented IDs.

Some eligibility rules include the contestant be unmarried, currently enrolled full-time at CSC, and between the ages of 18-24.

Monday’s Student Senate meeting recognized changes and accomplishments made throughout the year. During his farewell address, President Jacob Rissler expressed thanks to all those involved with the positive impacts Senate has made. Rissler said throughout the year Senate provided funds to The Big Event, Nearly Naked Mile, Release Live, water bottle filling stations, gun safes, and new furniture in the Student Center.
