Read MoreChelsea Waldorf, junior of Hill City, S.D., and Nathaniel Martens, junior of Newton, Kan., were selected from about 15 applicants to receive the Chadron State College Education Application Scholarship.
Waldorf, a psychology major, and Marten, a criminal justice major, were notified just before Christmas break and were officially awarded the $500 scholarships at the beginning of the current semester.

Vice President James Bahensky said that the revision changes when elections will take place. The bylaws state that fall election proceeding will begin the third Monday of September and that spring election proceedings will begin the third Monday of April. The revision was unanimously approved.
