The CSC softball team opened its season with two wins, two losses, and a tie. CSC dealt losses to Lynn University, Boca Raton, Florida, and Palm Beach Atlantic University, Palm Beach, Florida, but lost to Florida Institute of Technology, Melbourne, and Saint Leo University, Saint Leo, Florida. The game against Eckerd College, St. Petersburg, Florida, ended in a 3-3 tie, due to a rain delay.

The CSC track and field team hosted its annual Don Holst Twilight Open Friday and broke nine meet records. According to the NCAA D-II Indoor National Rankings from U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, CSC’s men team is seated No. 14 and the women at No. 24.

The Eagle wrestlers traveled to Colorado Springs, Colorado, to compete in the 2016 RMAC Wrestling Championships at the U.S. Olympic Training Center. The RMAC partnered with USA Wrestling, the Colorado Springs Sports Corporation, and the U.S. Olympic Training Center for these championships. This was the first RMAC-only wrestling championship tournament since 1996, and it was also the first collegiate wrestling tournament at the U.S. Olympic Training Center.
