Once again mid-term week is here, and the general feeling on campus has been stress, stress, stress. Professors and students have been fretting over the deadlines of midterm projects and exams, and the upcoming break will be well deserved.

Read MoreNo matter what my job may be, I take a lot of pride in the work that I do. But that doesn’t necessarily mean that the general population appreciates that kind of work. I have worked in fast food, as a housekeeper, a cashier, a stocker, a mechanic, and now a dishwasher. One could say that I’ve enough experience with “low-brow” jobs to represent others with similar work.
