Softball loses two games at home; travel to Denver next
The Cougars scored two runs in the first inning followed by nine more in the third inning. Caroline Johnson, sophomore of Firestone, Colo., singled up the middle for an RBI and sent Taylor Baur, freshman of Rapid City, S.D., home for the only Eagle’s point.

The room smelled of smoke and the low, slow music was being played by the usual guy over on the old, baby grand piano in the corner. The dealer fluidly dealt out two cards to each player and the high-stakes game commenced.
