Courtney LaMont was voted in as an at large member of CAB at Tuesday’s meeting.

The treasurer’s report was missing at this week’s CAB meeting due to Chris Green’s absence.

Clubs have spent $35,533.28 this year and have $118,231.62 remaining in their funds. CAB has spent $1,478.04 and has $2,021.96 remaining in its account.

Due to midterm break, there will be no CAB meeting next week.

The clubs in CAB have spent $29,288.91 so far this year. The money in the account that hasn’t yet been spent is $124,475.99. There is $521.96 left in CAB’s account.

The clubs in CAB have spent $12,742.81 and have $141,022.09 remaining in the account.

The total amount allocated to the clubs in CAB as of now is $150,764.90. The clubs have spent $9,123.01 so far this year.

Last year, the Campus Activities Board was allocated $148,356.90 for the 2015-2016 school year after the clubs submitted their budget packets. Clubs have the opportunity to request more money for new events at future CAB meetings. After expenditures so far, the budget for the remainder of this school year is $142,037.91. Clubs are expected to be active on campus with the money that is in their budgets. During last week’s Student Senate meeting, the purchase of an inflatable movie screen that will be used for various club activities was approved. Any club has the opportunity to request for the use of the screen for an event during CAB meetings.

Venturing to the new adventures college has to offer can seem daunting and intimidating, but facing down adventure is more memorable with friends. Making new friends can prove to be difficult in a sea of people.

CAB had $3,908.52 in unallocated funds at the beginning of Tuesday’s meeting.

CAB would like to purchase an inflatable outdoor screen which comes with its own projector and sound system for all clubs to use for outdoor events. The screen is 18 feet wide, has a Blu-ray player, and costs approximately $3,500.
