Campus Activities Board

The Campus Activities Board conducted a 15 minute meeting in order to have time for sand volleyball afterward. The game is part of an attempt to make CAB meetings more interesting, according to Adam Neumann, publicity coordinator.

The Campus Activities Board allocated money for homecoming, discussed homecoming events, and elected a new adviser at the meeting Tuesday.

The Campus Activities Board (CAB) will have its first meeting 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Scottsbluff room.
The meeting is open to the public, and all are welcome to attend and observe.

The new CAB executive members conducted the CAB meeting Tuesday. They were elected during last week’s meeting. Former vice-president Kyle Klammer swore in the new board members at the beginning of this week’s meeting.

The Campus Activities Board voted for new executive board members and discussed the 2011 homecoming theme at the meeting Tuesday.

CAB allocated money for a free movie night, and opened nominations for executive board members for the second time at the Tuesday meeting.

The Campus Activities Board accepted nominations for officers for the 2011-12 school year at the Tuesday meeting, and many club representatives participated in the meeting by announcing their clubs’ upcoming events.

The Campus Activities Board covered much business in the Tuesday meeting, including allocating money for a seminar for students on professional development and announcing the new CSC student trustee. Many clubs also announced their upcoming events.

The Campus Activities Board met briefly Tuesday to discuss the ongoing budget hearings and upcoming events.
