Campus Activities Board

CAB discussed the Eli Young Band concert and free movie night attendance.

Advisers Taylor Osmotherly and Megan Northrup announced preliminary homecoming plans Monday, starting with an invitation for students to join CAB’s homecoming committee.

Sophomore Kaylee Garvin, of Crawford, is the final elected member to CAB’s executive board, replacing Vice Chair of Relations Sadie Sheppard, junior of Fargo, North Dakota.

CAB is opening nominations for its executive board with four positions open.

CAB is hosting a budget packet training session from 5-7 p.m.  tonight, in the Lakota/Bordeaux Room in the Student Center. The event is mandatory for at least one executive board member of each club, but advisors are encouraged to attend.

CAB will host a budget packet workshop mandatory for club presidents, representatives and treasurers from 5-7 p.m. , Thursday, Feb. 21. The packets are due March 1. Budget hearings will take place after midterm break March 11-15.

For the upcoming Scholastic Day, April 12, clubs are encouraged to provide activities at their booths during the club 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. fair at the Student Center Ballroom.

Four weeks into the semester, no clubs have overspent the money they were allocated.
