Women’s basketball to begin season after exhibition
Chadron State women’s basketball team lost, 92-35, in an exhibition game against the University of Wyoming, Laramie, Friday. The Cowgirls dominated the game in the paint out scoring the Eagles 40-4. They also out rebounded the Eagles 60-27.

The Eagles came out ready to rumble on Friday when they suited up against Colorado Christian University. Scoring right away, with a layup from Justyn Anderson, redshirt freshman point guard from Las Vegas, the Eagles took off in a head-to-head battle with the CCU Cougars. The Eagles came out on top and won the contest 75-71.

To start the double header for the weekend, the Chadron State women’s basketball team took on the Colorado State University-Pueblo ThunderWolves and battled it out play-by-play. The ‘Wolves shooting percentage of 50 from the field and Laurel Kearsely’s 30 points and 10 rebounds helped them secure the win 79-60.
