The world is crazy right now. Since President Donald Trump took office, changes have been made in the United States. Some of us might not agree with the executive orders he is issuing, the appointments he’s making to important government positions, or even his personal tweets. On the other hand, there are many people who do agree.

Last week, I turned 22 years old and on my birthday I had at least three friends tell me happy birthday while making a reference to how “I am getting old.”
Friday, marked a day in history in which President Trump was officially inaugurated into office. Shortly thereafter all over the country there were protests, marches, and other demonstrations against this.

Mother nature, and CSC President Randy Rhine, blessed us with two snow days, which were great, but with the snow days, there is a struggle.
Friday, the 45th president of the United States was inaugurated. Donald Trump officially became the ruler of the free country. Despite critiques and protests, Trump still took the oath and was sworn into office.

We are now two weeks into the new semester. We breezed through syllabus week all too quickly, and now we are onto the real dirt and hard work, assignments are piling on, and we might even have a few quizzes and tests coming up soon.
As Americans we celebrate many holidays without knowing the true meaning of the holiday or recognizing the person who is being honored on the day. Such is the case for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

On Friday, the University of California Davis, Davis hosted an event that Milo Yiannopoulos and Martin Shkreli were scheduled to speak at; however, droves of protestors showed up to their event, and the UC Davis Police Department eventually shut it down as it was deemed unsafe for the two speakers.
