CSC International Club to host 2026 Food Tasting Party April 18

Chadron State College’s International Club is set to host the 41st annual food tasting party on April 18, 2026. This year’s party will showcase the international students’ cultures and food, alongside some amazing performances. The 2026 food tasting theme is “A World on Stage.”

This year menu will feature meals from Ethiopia, India, Japan, Sambawan Island, Colombia, Germany, and Democratic Republic of Congo. There will also be desserts made by school’s cafeteria service, Fresh Ideas.

The club has lined up performances to represent diverse cultures and some of CSC’s in-house talents. These will include a Chinese Opera singer, an Ethiopian dance (performed by the students), Chadron State Jazz Band, a Tongan dance, and closing with a Polynesian dance group.

The club’s president, Kimo Tuivaiti, mentions that he and the club are very excited to put on this event, as it’s been months in the planning and organizing to ensure a smooth event.

“It’s been a great team effort, and I’m proud of the work our members have put in. We can’t wait to bring everyone together and make it a fun and memorable experience,” said Tuivaiti.

Tickets are on sale April 6th – 10th at the CSC Student Centre from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or at 5 – 7 p.m. Ticket prices are as listed: Adults $20; Senior Citizens (55+) and Children (6-18)  $15; children under 6 are free.
