The 14 excited grade schoolers who attended Saturday’s class conducted several experiments to demonstrate how weather changes. The students created precipitation, frost, dew, a barometer, a thermometer, and an anemometer.

Chadron State College students dug through bowls of worms and ate habanero peppers to show their bravery at the RLA-sponsored “Fear Factor” event in The Hub at 7 p.m. Saturday.

To raise awareness for testicular cancer and LGBTQ rights, eight CSC students dressed up as the opposite gender for the night and put on a show for the Cancer’s A Drag event Thursday in the Student Center Ballroom. With over 100 students in attendance, it could be argued that this was one of the more popular events on campus.

After enduring a ride from Denver to Chadron in a propeller plane, comedian Matt Pavich performed to a small crowd of 30 students in the Bordeaux/Lakota/Ponderosa rooms of the Chadron State College Student Center at 7 p.m. Friday.

CSC students and faculty entertained audiences at the Honor’s Recital and Faculty Recital.

Zeta Alpha Kappa hosted a Sip and Color event Thursday night in the Ponderosa Room, as part of rush week.

Chadron State College students celebrated the first day of spring with arts and crafts at the Residence Life Association’s Craft into Spring event at 7 p.m. Tuesday in The Hub.

Students brought new life to campus as the Chadron State College Residence Life Association hosted a Planting Party in The Hub at 9 p.m. Thursday.
