Students bowled frozen turkeys behind the complex at 3 p.m. Friday.

Mary P. Donahue, visual and performing arts professor, spoke about her life, travels, and landscape art at the second-to-last Tapestry event for the season in the basement of the Chadron Public Library from 2-4 p.m. Saturday.

The first 36 students at Cooking in a Cup received free mugs in The Hub at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

“The Blindside” star Quinton Aaron spoke to nearly 200 students Monday night in the Chicoine Center on the topic of bullying. Aaron played the role of Michael Oher in the award-winning movie “The Blindside.”

Students were drinking foreign holiday drinks for culture awareness at 6 p.m. Monday, in The Hub.

The Chadron Arts Center was lit by sunlight filtered through stained glass windows and white Christmas lights strewn across leafless trees as two choral ensembles performed for an estimated audience of 77 community members.

About 58 students packed approximately 110 shoe boxes to send at Operation Christmas Child Box Packing in The Hub 9 p.m. Friday.

Natti Tadesse, 21, freshman of Ethiopia, won first place in The Pit’s one-on-one pool tournament of the fall semester and won a 32-inch Vizio television as his prize, Thursday night.

For the second straight year, leadership speaker Paul Wesselmann, the Ripples Guy, spoke to CSC students in the Student Center, this year with the topic of “Shut Up You Stupid Crazy Meany: Changing how we fight about politics, religion, and everything else.”

Members of the Residence Life Association demonstrated different forms of divination for students at a fortune telling event in The Hub from 7-9 p.m. Friday.
